At Vision Specialists of California (VSC), we have been serving the greater San Diego area for more than 40 years. You may remember our practice as the Eye Treatment Clinic – we’ve been treating patients in the same spot in the downtown community since the 1980s. With the addition of our glaucoma specialist, Dr. Khan, we are now known as Vision Specialists of California (VSC).
We are eye care specialists that take great pride in our patient-focused care. We treat you with the time and respect you deserve, not just as a patient, but as a valued member of our community. Each patient we treat is given a thorough exam by a specialist and is given the time and attention they deserve.
You will only see a specialist when you make an appointment at VSC. We only employ ophthalmologists who have received additional fellowship training. The specialists at VSC will treat you according to the guidelines set forth by the American Academy of Ophthalmology – which is the certifying body for ophthalmology in the United States.
Our physicians are dedicated to creating life-long ties to our patients and our community. While many practices worry about the immediate problem, we plan to keep your vision healthy and keep you seeing well for the rest of your life. Giving Back
We stand by our mission to provide patients with the best ophthalmic care possible. In addition to the Free Friday Clinic series, every other year we travel to developing nations that are under-served by the ophthalmic community and provide free treatment in places like Mexico, India, Bangladesh and others. We have been fortunate to provide care for those who have never seen an eye doctor, much less an ophthalmologist. This is an intensely rewarding experience that we are honored to provide and will hopefully continue for the upcoming years, as the Rightly Guided Physicians.
